Answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ`s)

A1 - Go to "Forms" page - Click "Application" - Print off and complete the Application form and return it to the address shown on the form.

 

A2 - Go to "Forms" page - Complete the electronic "Change of Details" form Click "Submit". You will receive a confirmation e-mail.

 

A3 - Go to "Forms" page - Click "Retirement" - Print off and complete the Retirement form and return it to the address shown on the form.

 

A4 - No, you will not be able to rejoin the DASBF. You will still receive your retirement grant in full.

A6 - Yes of course. Go to "Forms" page - Complete the electronic "Change of Details" form Click "Submit". You will receive a confirmation e-mail.

A7 - Quarterly, four times a year. February, May, August, November.

A8 - You will be contacted by a member of the Executive Committee who will arrange a convenient time and place for the cheque presentation.

A9 - 1) Discuss your hardship claim with your Local Area Representative. He/she will help you complete the Hardship Grant form. 2) Go to "Forms" page - Click "Hardship Grant" - Print off and complete the Hardship Grant form and return it to the address shown on the form.

A10 - Your application will be reviewed by a minimum of three executive committee members.They will discuss your claim and advise you of their decision within 24 hours.

A11 - You can continue your membership by paying in advance of your anticipated extended unpaid leave. For more information please contact enquiries@dasbf.co.uk stating your intention.

 

A12 - You can nominate a beneficiary by completing and returning the Beneficiary Form . If no instructions are received then the `Death in Servive` payment will go to your Next of Kin.
