The Skill and Professionalism of NHS Ambulance Staff throughout the UK is widely acknowledged to be among the highest in the world. Last year, Ambulance Crews in the County of Devon responded to some 150,000 Emergency and Urgent calls. Most were attended within 8 minutes.
Ambulance Staff suffer the normal stresses and strains of everyday life. However, with such a demanding job comes additional pressures. The Devon Ambulance Staff Benevolent Fund is there when things go wrong, supporting staff and their families in times of Hardship, Bereavement and Severe Illness.
